In the early 1970’s, Bill Ayoub began working for his father’s carpet company in Rockville, Maryland. After 20 years of gaining experience in the business, he moved on to start his own company. In 1991, Bill Ayoub and his wife, Hala, started Ayoub N&H.

In the early 2000’s, their sons Kristopher, Andrew, and Jamie joined Ayoub N&H to expand and offer a wide range of flooring services at their location in Kensington, MD. Originally started as a carpet and rug cleaning company, Ayoub N&H now provides a full range of services, including; Carpet Cleaning & Repair, Rug Cleaning & Repair, Upholstery Cleaning, Carpet and Rug Sales, Hardwood Sales & Refinishing, Luxury Vinyl and Laminate Flooring, Custom Design & Fabrication carpet services, and water damage restoration.

Today, Ayoub N&H operates out of a 10,000 square foot facility in Kensington, Maryland that houses a state-of-the-art cleaning facility, a carpet and hardwood flooring distribution center, and a beautiful Rug and Floor Covering Showroom. In 2022 Ayoub N&H opened another location in Northern Montgomery County to better serve the growing demand for their services. The Rockville, MD location includes a Floor Covering Showroom and rug cleaning drop off center. The Ayoub N&H Rug and Floor Covering Galleries display hundreds of different styles of wall-to-wall carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl and laminate samples. Their selection ranges from natural fiber carpets such as wool and sisal, to synthetic options such as Nylon, Polyester, and SmartStrand. Ayoub N&H also carries “Green” carpets, which are made from natural as well as synthetic fibers. In addition, Ayoub N&H also offers custom design options for area rugs, carpet, and runners installed on steps.
